From Employee Handbook:

Disruptive Students

If you find a student too disruptive, bring the student to the Office where they will sit at

the tiny desk in quiet bored misery. Never send work to the Office with the student.

They need time to reflect on the fact that it is a privilege to be in our school. If they do

not want to follow the rules they will need to sit and do nothing. Boredom is the best

consequence because it does not require creativity, it cannot be escalated, and it takes

the angry mood away from the event, which allows the emotional arousal to abate.
