A Parent's Testimonial- The administration at this school is awful.

The administration at this school is awful. They do not listen to parent feedback if it is negative. Instead they will let the involved teacher know who complained; therefore, creating a target on your child. Since leaving MMS I have heard numerous complaints from other parents that have left or had their child kicked out due to similar issues. I've heard numerous stories of teachers using shaming techniques to discipline kids. I would caution anyone who is considering the school to run the other direction. Your children are too precious to let them learn in an environment where concerns are not listened to and where they'll potentially be shamed by their teacher (and then supported by the administration for using such tactics). Parental involvement is rated poorly since the administration seems to not want any true parent involvement or input. MMS needs to develop a system for handling complaints in a thorough, unbiased manner. The current system of sweeping them under the rug limits the school from improving and is potentially very dangerous. So glad we've moved on to a different school.
